The YANG FAMILY are the oldest traditional Chinese puppetry performers in continuous operation.YANG FENG, whose dexterous hand puppet manipulation mesmerized audiences at the 1991 Puppeteers of America Festival brings us a completely new show, his first show made in the United Sates. He is joined by his daughter, YANG XIE ZHENG, a sixth generation puppeteer and the first female of the Yang family to become a puppeteer. This father/daughter team brings twice the amazement to their new show.

The show includes the following scenes: "The Archer," "The West Gate," "Mosquito and Pigsy," and "The Hunter." These scenes showcase the Yang's manipulation virtuosity and sense of humor.

Documentary includes a visit to his Chinese puppet manipulation workshop.
