IL TEATRO PISCATORE'S adaptation of Michel de Ghelderode's 1930's farce is performed by the half-masked talking head of TOM DAILEY in the eponymous role! Tom is accompanied by seven hand puppets and a colorful mobile set. It is an interesting sight in traffic but, with its twinkling lights and carnival music, IL TEATRO PESCATORE really comes alive for an evening performance. Step inside the nautical big top and take your seat before a golden proscenium arch beyond which fantastical tales are spun on a tiny stage. Return the next night and nothing remains -- except a sprinkle of confetti on the ground.
